Sadly im in the same situation, only i dont know if my ex regrets breaking up with me ( i will find out this saturday) but if he doesnt love you anymore but he misses you i think he is just lonely. Dont fall for it, it might seem so easy and the right thing to do but this guy just wants some company and he can get that from someone else, not from the girl he broke up with and no doubt hurt alot.
Tell him to take a running jump, your a person not a fool..tell him you know his game and you arent falling for it.

it can be anything may be he likes u and he is crazy about and he is realizing this now or maybe he is just fooling around
