Like if you know the relationship needs to end, but you still hurt so badly even if you were not happy in the end with the person you broke up with.

fear of being alone and complacency!
Even if you were treated badly and were not happy in the end, you still had to have some emotional ties with the person you broke up with.
It’s not unusual to feel strong emotions after ending a relationship that was bad for you.
because love hurts
Because you don’t want to be alone. Just hang out with friends, keep busy and everything will be OK. YOu’ll be another guy and hopefully the relationship willl be more healthy.
Marco!
I think it’s because the comfort is gone and we tend to get scared.
I think it hurts because you wish it could have worked. You got along on some levels with your ex., and thinking of that makes you miss the person. Also, you spent a good amount of time with that person for months or years and all of a sudden he or she is no longer a part of your life.
I have gone through it before and am going through it now from a relationship I ended two months ago. I just keep reminding myself of the reasons why it didn’t work and allow myself to be sad when I find myself missing him. Hope I was able to help.
Your ego gets bruised, you grow attached to that person and start to understand them. They become a part of you and when you break up you lose that part. Time is the best thing, keep busy to. It takes your mind off.
When you spend time with someone they can easily become a part of you and without their presence it feels weird.
