Also are there any brands out there that are better than the rest? I have been looking at Sunbeam and they seem pretty good. I just want to get her the best one out there.

They are a dangerous fire hazard. If you don’t like her anymore, you should be honest and tell her. Don’t try to kill her.

  2. DeeDee says:

also gt her a vacuum cleaner and an iron. they are about as romantic.

no i think it is not….try a nice poem and flowers

Only if this is what she asked for. Otherwise, this is not a present to give to a GF or wife, women want their man to keep them warm at night. one year my husband gave me a electric blanket, its never been the same since.

it’s not that romantic but go for it! i would LOVE an electric blanket…the lovely warmth…you could cuddle under it together on a cold snowy winter evening…if you look at it that way then it is romantic!

Why would you get her an electric blanket for X-mas? Is that what she wants? If that is what she wants then get her one. I don’t think there is one brand better than another, but Sears, JcPenny, and Macy’s have some nice electric blanket.

You know this can be a good gift…is she always cold????
If the two fo you haven’t been together for very long ….you may also want to get her something a little more personal than an electric blanket…Merry X-mas

if your really trying to be a good boyfriend and surprizing her for christmas get her something like a neclace or jewlery or take her out to dinner and a play or something like that…. dont get her an electric blanket unless thats what she wants…. or do both… get her something and be like now we can cuddle under a warm blanket…. just dont get her only the blanket, it could get ugly

If your gf likes practical gifts and she gets cold in bed then that might be a good idea. If the blanket isnt taken care of properly it can be a fire hazzaard, but I used to use mine all year long and would even leave it on all 24/7 (my dad had a fit if he noticed) and never had a problem with it. Now that I’m married I have used it once.

  11. Amelia says:

If you want to make it meaningful for your girlfriend, try something romantic like giving gifts that can be purchased online or at your local stores. Or better yet, directly ask her if she likes the idea of an electric blanket, that way you will know if the gift is appreciated or not.

  12. So usually I don’t have any problems thinking of great gift ideas for anyone, especially my gf, but I am really stumped this year.
