    and write a nice note inside for her

    well it really depends, i think, on your presentation of it. if you want it to be a special gift that she can cherish, then a book…it will be better protected. if you do a poster, you might consider getting a poster canister for protection. but, i think it would be neat and different to do a poster and hang it for her (locker if young and at school, in her office at work if older…you get the drift)
