   I open my own car door unless it’s a date and then usually I wait for him. My bf and I have been together for 2 years and we live together, so we ride in the car together a lot. Its not really practical for me to always wait for him. If I’m all done up and I don’t want to smudge my face/wrinkle my dress he walks around and opens it.

   And he usually opens the door at places with doors. He unlocks the door when we get home, too.

   Most of the guys that I have dated have always done this on the first few dates. After that, they would continue it, except when we were in a hurry. Sometimes, it would not be practical.

   I think it shows a lot of class in a fellow. It not only impresses the lady; it impresses most people that see how thoughtful the man is behaving.

   Doesn’t it make you feel good to see people do this? Today, it is not as common as to used to be, especially where I am from. I think it is still shows refinement on behalf of the man.

   Hi there! I usually don’t do it. It’s not me if I would do that and besides it would make my girl wonder who I was with if I would do a sudden change. I am always in a hurry.
