Breaking up with girlfriend because she is more career orientated?

If you want to break up with her then do it. I would re-think what the real reason is that you want to break up with her. Is it because you don’t have time to go with her to the sports activities or does she want you there? If she is career orientated then I would say kudos to her. I like people that are into living life to the fullest and wanting to work hard to get what they want in life. Can’t you and her come to a compromise? Maybe you two can pick a couple days a week to see each other. If not then do what you must. Is she worth waiting for? Do you love her? Ask yourself some asks outside the box.
If she’s career orientated then it means that she’s planning her future. You can’t break up with her just because she’s planning her future. Everyone wants a good future.
Talk to her and try to make a specific time to see her, like every Saturday, or every Friday…
Just try to work it out and talk to her. It isn’t fair if you break up with her just because she was planning her future.
Don’t think things your way only, sometimes you have to think things her way.
It looks like she has decided that being with a non goal having douchbag is not fun anymore. I think it is time for you to move on, because basically she has. The fact she has continued to have anything to do with your sorry a55 is very surprising I guess in some way she may feel sorry for you.

Among many of the partners it happens that they want to maintain their relationships along with their career which is practically possible in very rare circumstances. Or sometimes just because of some misunderstanding they part their ways and become career oriented because then they are actually left with no other option.
