You may be thinking that since you have lost your boyfriend and he shows no interest in getting back together, that it’s over for good.
Honestly, it may be over for good, but you still may have a chance to win him back even if he shows no interest.
There’s really only one way of knowing if you can win him back, and that is to give it a try. He may be appearing to have moved on, and has no interest in you, but you may still have a chance.
The best thing you can do is to show him that you still care about him as a person. You can’t be a needy, stalking ex girlfriend – you need to be a supportive friend. By being mature and showing him that you can be in the same room together without creating drama, will go a long way to proving to him that you can still be friends, or at least acquaintances, without being in a love relationship.

My relationship ended a little over a month ago. He ended it because he wanted to date other people and said that he didn’t love me in the same way anymore. He said he had been thinking about it since summer time, but didn’t break it off until winter. We had lived together for over a year, and had been in a relationship together for over four years. Just this week he finally got the rest of his things out of the apartment we used to share together (where I now live without him). Why did he drag his feet on getting his stuff out? I heard he’s already dating a different girl. I went to his place a couple of days ago to get him to sign a release form of my apartment’s lease. I noticed that he still had a gift I had made for him years ago out in the open, as if he still used it. Also, there was a picture of the two of us that I gave him several years ago too, on his desk, but it was lying down, not standing up.
Do you think any of these things are signs I should take as meaning he may want a second chance? He has otherwise shown no interest. He hasn’t called or contacted me in any way.
I’m obviously devastated because I still have incredibly strong feelings. Thoughts?

I just started at a new company 2 months ago, as a typical office assistant. They have a position open in the same department for a Staff Accountant, available in 2 months. The lady in the position is leaving for Germany in October. I have an accounting background, and expressed interest to my HR Director about this opening, and she said to submit a letter of interest.
